HOMEBASE stores will have collections next month for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
In 2010 Homebase staff selected the trust as the company’s official charity partner. The charity helps young people across the country fight cancer.
In two years Homebase employees in the UK and Ireland have raised £1.9 million, which is helping build more specialist home-from-home Teenage Cancer Trust units in NHS hospitals.
The trust has been given the chance to collect donations in every Homebase store on Saturday and Sunday, December 15 and 16.
Anyone interested in sparing a couple of hours to fund-raise at their local store can contact christmascollection@teenagecancertrust.org or call 020 7612 0716.
