CHILDREN’S charity Acorns is turning back time for a Victorian fair at its Worcester store to help support care for life-limited children.

The fair is being staged in the city from next Thursday until Sunday, December 2.

Val Hammond, Acorns’ area retail manager, said: “This is really going to be an exciting weekend for shoppers and will also feature a collectors’ fair packed with cameras and other collectables.

“We are keen to receive donations at our store in Mealcheapen Street, Worcester, during opening hours, between 9am and 5pm, to support the event.

“These all help us to raise vital funds to support Acorns’ care, which costs £750 per day, per child, mainly generated by our local community.”

She added: “We need to urgently to raise funds to support as many bed nights as we can for local children.”
