Thomas & Co incorporating Forster & Wheeler Solicitors has been accredited with The Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme kite mark.

Accreditation is the result of a rigorous, six-month audit of the firm’s conveyancing procedures by The Law Society including personal, public data, checks on the partners, conveyancing practitioners and senior support staff.

Martin Priest, partner responsible for conveyancing within the practice, is delighted that long- standing procedures and practices continued and developed from former partners Sheila Thomas and Christine Forster have now been “rubber stamped” with a quality mark.

He said: "This accreditation reassures both new and existing clients that the way in which their matters are dealt with has been specifically recognised as quality by the regulatory body.

“We can also continue to act for all of the major, High Street mortgage lenders for which The Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme is rapidly becoming the industry standard.”

He added: “The scheme’s accreditation will be proudly marked in correspondence and displayed in our offices in Kings Heath, Quinton, Cradley Heath and Wellingborough in Northamptonshire."
