STOURPORT is to host an event to showcase apprenticeships.
It takes place on Friday, March 15 at the Menzies, Stourport Manor Hotel, following a similar one on Wednesday, March 13 at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
They have been organised for employers to show how apprenticeships can benefit businesses and are opportunities to find information ranging from financial grants to support available for employing an apprentice.
Aamir Kayani, enterprise employment and skills manager with Worcestershire County Council, said: “We are working with partners, including the National Apprenticeship Service and colleges and training providers, to provide all the support to local employers who are considering taking on apprentices, to ensure that Worcestershire's economy has the skilled workforce to meet the current and future needs of employers."
Employers who take an apprentice for the first time can access a £1,500 grant from the Government.
