THE University of Law’s students have voted their university among the best in the country, according to the results of the National Student Survey.

It is ranked joint second university in the UK in the 2014 NSS, with a student satisfaction level of 92%. The survey canvases opinions among final-year students at higher education Institutions.

The NSS included 23 questions covering a range of areas from teaching and academic support to library and personal development. ULaw achieved particularly high accolades for the quality of teaching, library provision and academic support, with those areas receiving collective scores of 95%.

John Latham, chief executive and president, ULaw, said: “To be ranked so highly is a powerful endorsement from our students and I am particularly pleased that we are leading the way on teaching quality and academic experience.

"The high scores directly reflect the areas that we invest heavily in - for example our learning infrastructure, where our library resources scored 99%.

“We offer small class sizes, high contact teaching hours, and teaching that’s entirely delivered by faculty with commercial experience and academic credibility - all reflected in our 98% employability record.

"The ULaw model is totally student centred and it's terrific that our students have recognised the passion and enthusiasm our staff have for delivering student success.”
