A MEDIA training club launched by Worcestershire-based consultancy Chris Green Media (CGM) has celebrated its first anniversary.
The CGM Business Media Club, which meets on the last Friday of every month, combines media training, personal development and quality networking in a sharing setting for business owners, managers and marketing staff.
At the anniversary meeting, members provided tales of inspiration relating to specific club themes covered at the club over the past year, including public speaking, running media campaigns, blogging and using video, which had benefitted their businesses.
Guest speakers included David Ledbury of GrowthAccelerator and two CGM partners – sports author and broadcaster Tom Watt and Graham Essenhigh of video specialists Bubble Production.
Chris Green, the firm’s managing director, said: “We were delighted that so many members and visitors from the business community came along to share our anniversary celebrations and we look forward to growing the club and supporting our members over the next 12 months.”
The next club meeting is on Friday, November 28, at Wild Wood Rooms, in Worcester, when the topic will be building a marketing campaign on LinkedIn. Visitors are welcome to attend.
