BUSINESSES across Wyre Forest are being invited to a free breakfast seminar to help them stay one step ahead of changes to employment laws.

Kidderminster recruitment and training firm eResponse is running the session for local businesses who want to keep up-to-date with current HR trends, changes in the market place and best practice.

The seminar will be held at 9am on Thursday, March 26 at Sixways Stadium and will focus on the new laws surrounding parental leave and a general employment law update.

The session will be led by guest speaker Kirstie Stuart, owner of Stuart HR Consultancy Ltd. Ms Stuart will be on hand to take businesses through how they could be affected by the sweeping changes which now allow parents to share parental leave following the birth of a child.

She will also be covering who is eligible and what the legal obligations are for employers.

Paul Alekna, managing director of eResponse, said: “It’s vital that businesses across the Wyre Forest are given the best support and advice to make things as easy as possible for them.

“We’ve been running seminars for over four years now and the feedback is that people value hearing from experts and having the opportunity to share ideas and network with others.

“The seminar will cover some vital employment law issues and make sure businesses aren’t caught out by the changes.”

Spaces for the seminar are limited and the firm is offering the event on a first come first served basis.
