STAFF at a Brierley Hill law firm will be getting a dressing down today (May 21) as they celebrate Denim for Dementia Day.
As part of Dementia Awareness Week, staff at Higgs & Sons, based at Waterfront Business Park, will swap their usual business attire for something less formal and donate £1 to the Alzheimer’s Society.
The firm are carrying out a number of fundraising activities to support their chosen charity of the year and today will see employees come to work in denim or blue themed clothing.
Tim Jones, a partner in the firm, said: “We are incredibly excited to be working with the Alzheimer’s Society this year.
“The charity does a great deal to help raise the profile of Alzheimer’s at a national level, as well as working tirelessly in and around the region supporting local individuals and families who are affected by the condition.”
The firm will also take part in a memory walk and a charity quiz night as part of their activities to support the Alzheimer’s Society.
