LAW firm Harrison Clark has broken records for its most successful start to a financial year.

The 14-strong team of corporate legal specialists at Harrison Clark, which has offices in Worcester, Cheltenham, Ross and Hereford, has completed 46 transactions - worth more than £70 million - in the period from December, 2011 to the end of March, 2012, a significant increase on last year’s 25 transactions worth a total of almost £65 million.

Transactions have included the acquisition of a large hotel in Bath and a management buyout of Ross-based NAM Engineering Ltd and its subsidiary, ABT Products Ltd.

The firm also acted on behalf of a client in a £5 million refinancing deal, as well as acting for the vendor on the disposal of an oil and gas down hole survey provider for $100 million.

Harrison Clark completed numerous additional acquisitions, disposals and refinancing deals including a multi-jurisdictional transaction involving the UK, Dubai, the USA and Australia.
