ST Michael’s and All Angels Church in Rushock is taking part in the Festival of Churches on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 with a flower festival.
The festival, which is running throughout September across Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire, is seeing churches throw open their doors to the public to take a look inside and see some of the historic items and skills exhibited by parishioners.
St Michael’s and All Angels is inviting people to design flower arrangements along the theme of ‘songs sung by soldiers during World War One’ with up to 20 experienced and first-time flower arrangers interpreting a particular song with flowers.
The arrangements will be on display in the church over the weekend of September 20 and 21 from 11am to 4pm and entry is free, with refreshments available in the village hall next door.
