THERE’S a spooky feeling in the air at Webbs Garden Centre as Halloween approaches, and youngsters wanting to get creative will have the chance to get their hands on, and in some pumpkins with a carving workshop.

More than 1,500 pumpkins are being delivered to the Wychbold garden centre ready for pumpkin carving workshops running through half-term.

Children can put on an apron and scoop out their own pumpkin ready for members of staff to carve them a Halloween face.

Chairman Ed Webb, said: "We have piles of pumpkins ready and waiting as the workshops are always very popular. The youngsters can’t wait to get stuck in and have something creative to show at the end of it.”

The workshops are running from 11-4pm throughout half-term from Monday, October 27 to Friday, October 31, and tickets can be purchased on the day for £4.99 per child, which includes a pumpkin to take home and a battery tea light.

The garden centre is also organising children’s fair rides and face painting, and holding a fun outdoor trail through the Riverside Gardens, which is free and open from 11am to 5pm.
