KEEN runners from Droitwich-based floorcare company Vax have taken on the challenge of the Birmingham Half Marathon in a bid to raise £2,600 for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

26 runners from the firm’s Droitwich and Birmingham offices took part in the 13.1 mile run through Birmingham city centre, with each pledging to raise £100 for the hospital.

Vax managing director David Winterbottom, said: “We’re really proud to be raising money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital again and we’d urge everyone to help show their support for this great cause by donating at our JustGiving page.”
