IF epic David Lean blockbuster Lawrence of Arabia has ever left anyone wanting to know more about TE Lawrence, Droitwich History and Archaeology Society is holding a talk all about the man on Wednesday, November 5.
‘Lawrence of Arabia, known and unknown’ is taking place in the John Corbett Room at Droitwich Community Hall, where John Boynton will be asking what the public really knows about Lawrence, and how the famous film has coloured understanding of a man who was once a national hero. Lawrence had a very prominent career and then hid away from public life. Mr Boynton asks what is his legacy?
The talk begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £2 for members or £4 for friends and visitors.
