A DROITWICH man who choked on a glass of squash in a Worcestershire hospital, has had his death ruled an accident by the county coroner.
An inquest held in Stourport heard how 77-year-old Anthony Vernon Groves of Steynors Close in Droitwich, aspirated some of the contents of a glass of squash and suffered a cardiac arrest at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Monday, November 3.
Mr Groves, who was already suffering from dementia and chronic renal failure, had became unwell and was admitted to the hospital.
