DROITWICH Library will be changing it’s opening hours over the Christmas break, with Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23 remaining as usual, before shorter hours on Christmas Eve, when the library will be open from 9.30am to 1pm.

The library will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, before opening as usual on Saturday, December 27, and closing for Sunday, December 28.

The following week the library will be open as usual on Monday, December 29 and Tuesday, December 30, and then it will open from 9.30am to 3pm on New Year’s Eve and be closed all day on New Year’s Day.

Councillor Lucy Hodgson, cabinet member for localism and communities, said: "We would like to wish all of our library customers a happy festive season and remind everyone that if you are a member of Worcestershire's libraries even when the libraries are closed you can still get access to eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines and your account 24/7 on your laptop, tablet or other mobile device…and it's free."
