POLICE in Bromsgrove are appealing for witnesses after two offenders broke into a van and stole several items.

The incident occurred on Saturday, January 24 at approximately 3.20pm on Dovecote Road in Hill Top, when a blue Ford Mondeo was driven down the road, parking near to the victim’s vehicle, a white Mercedes Vito van.

Two male offenders were seen getting out of the Mondeo, and one approached the front passenger door of the van, producing an unknown implement from his pocket, which he then used to open the van without causing damage or setting off the alarm.

The offender then slid open the rear door of the vehicle and began taking items of property out of the van, helped by the other offender.

The first offender then shut the van door and they both made off in the Mondeo.

The first offender is described as wearing a bobble hat and a tight fitting jacket, while the second offender wore a hooded top and a two tone black and white jacket.
