WITH a little less chill in the air, the town’s historical guided walks are re-launching for 2015 in March.

The walks will take place on the second Saturday of each month, and start from the Droitwich Spa Heritage and Information Centre at St Richard’s House, taking people on a tour of the town, and highlighting some of the heritage sites along the way with volunteers from the History and Archaeology Society, and from the town’s Civic Society dressed in period costumes.

The first walk is starting on Saturday March, 14, followed by walks on April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12 and October 10.

There is a small charge for walkers of £2 per person, with under 16s joining in for free when accompanied by an adult, and the walks, which begin at 2pm, should last for about one and a half hours.

Tickets for the walks can be purchased from Droitwich Spa Heritage and Information Centre in St Richard’s House, or for more information call the centre on 01905 774312.
