A WILDLIFE farm in Hanbury is offering people the chance to experience the local birdlife with a dawn bird walk.
The walk has been organised at Wild Hollowfields as part of International Dawn Chorus Day, and will lead a walk around the farm starting at 4.30am on May 3, explaining the various different bird songs.
From the skylark, to warblers, thrushes and numerous other birds which breed on the farm, local bird expert Gert Corfield, will be able to let people in on who they are listening to.
Jan Terry, the event’s organiser said: ““Gert’s enthusiasm is infectious.”
Tickets for the walk are £5 and include light refreshments. For more information, visit wildhollowfields.co.uk, call the farm on 01527 821461 or write to josephine.z@btopenworld.com. Booking is essential.
