ST Andrew’s Church in Droitwich is launching Messy Church sessions this September, and there will be a special taster session running this Saturday for people to get an idea of what the sessions will be like.
The session will be running from 10am to noon on Saturday, June 27 at the St Andrew’s Parish Centre in Droitwich, where children will have the chance to decorate their own cupcakes, make pictures of food, and have fun in the garden.
The Messy Church taster session is free, and is open to children of all ages as long as they’re accompanied by an adult.
The Rev Bev Jameson, team vicar for Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: "It is great fun for children and adults alike and a good introduction to Messy Church proper starting in September."
The Messy Church sessions in September will include a range of craft activities, a short time of celebration including songs and prayer, and eating a meal together. The sessions will all be free of charge.
