A MAN managed to escape unhurt after his car ended up in the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal this afternoon.
The BMW driver a lucky escape and was unhurt after his car ended up in the canal near Lea Lane, Cookley, Kidderminster at just after 2.30pm.
He was checked over by ambulance crews and a rapid response vehicle and discharged at the scene.
Droitwich and Worcester firefighters were on hand to assist Kidderminster fire crews to recover the BMW.
