FIVE people were arrested on suspicion of being involved in drug dealing after a warrant was executed in Droitwich.
Class A drugs were recovered by CID officers at an address in Bays Meadow yesterday, which led to the arrests of three men and two women.
Three of the five people remain in custody this morning (Thursday, November 12) while two - a man and a woman believed to be in their 30s or 40s - have been bailed to return to the police station.
West Mercia Police has thanked the public as the warrant was actioned following reports of suspicious and antisocial behaviour.
A team of 15 police officers, including staff from Droitwich's Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), executed the warrant and the investigation is being carried out by West Mercia's CID team.
Superintendent Kevin Purcell has tweeted about the good work of officers who made the arrests.
Great work over last few days. Fear of Crime? Yes you should have if you deal drugs! @SWorcsCops all over it! https://t.co/c1TszbmG6c
