A MAN walking the length of Britain for charity has made a stop off in Ombersley.
Stuart Montrose is currently taking part in an epic 880 mile journey from Land's End, Cornwall, to John O’Groats in Scotland.
Mr Montrose began the tough challenge on May 21 and hopes it will take a month, completing the trip on June 21.
He is raising money for Alzheimer’s Society, Cancer Research UK, Epilepsy Research UK and the Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia Support Group.
Mr Montrose took time out of his busy schedule, which has seen him walking up to 28 miles a day, when he visited the Alzheimer’s Society’s Worcester office in Ombersley, resting his legs and enjoying a cup of tea.
Mr Montrose said: “One of my highlights so far has been enjoying thinking about the people that are going to benefit from this fundraising and it has been nice to meet people along the way so far."
