WORCESTERSHIRE residents can get in some early Christmas shopping at Worcestershire Wildlife Trust's craft fair this weekend.

After a successful event earlier this month, the trust is holding the Christmas fair at its headquarters in Lower Smite Farm, between 10am and 4pm this Saturday, November 19.

The event will be showcasing more than 15 local craft workers, and organisers promise there will be something for everyone including jewellery, clocks, photographs, pottery, flowers, jams, decorations and woodwork.

Hannah Thomas, organiser of the craft fair, said: "We’ve expanded the number of stallholders so it’s a great opportunity to find that special, hand-crafted, present for your friends and family - and in a much more relaxed environment than on the high street."

As well as indulging in retail therapy visitors to the craft fair can also take the opportunity to head out and enjoy a walk around the trust’s nature trail.

Lower Smite Farm is signposted from the A4538 between Martin Hussingtree and the Sixways roundabout.
