TOWNSFOLK will again be enjoying some free Christmas parking in the run up to the big day.
Councillors have decided the annual tradition should continue so residents can do Christmas shopping in the town, and support traders in the process.
There will be free parking on the weekends of December 15-16 and the following weekend, December 22-23.
During free parking periods drivers will not have to pay and display, and the barriers at the entrance and exit of pay on foot car parks in Bromsgrove will be raised.
Parking meters will be covered with black plastic to indicate that no payment for parking is required at that time.
Drivers are reminded that to ensure car parks remain safe and accessible at all time, all other normal car park rules will be in operation in these periods.
