FINAL preparations are being made for an annual Christmas craft fair being held this Saturday, (November 17).

The event is being held at Catshill Village Hall, in Golden Cross Lane, between 10am-2pm. Entrance is free to all visitors.

Stall holders at the fair are all local, and everything sold will be hand-made.

There will be a variety of items available to purchase including items that could make imaginative Christmas presents.

Among the stall holders products are knitted gifts, ceramics, hand-made jewellery, cards and paper products made using quilling techniques, felt-work gifts, New England themed soft furnishings and needlecraft accessories, textile jewellery, fabric art and personalised gifts.

A cafe, serving tea, coffee, cold drinks and home-made cakes will also be open on the day. All proceeds raised in the cafe will go towards Catshill Village Hall’s maintenance fund.

Craft fair organiser Loraine Cooke said everyone is looking forward to the day, and added it will offer people the perfect opportunity to get ahead with their Christmas gift list.
