A MAN was remanded in custody when he appeared in court in Redditch on Monday, (December 3), charged with robbing a taxi driver in Rednal.
Lee Courtney, 28, of Lickey Road, Rednal, was arrested on Sunday in connection with an incident in the same street late on Saturday night.
He was subsequently charged with robbing a taxi driver of £10 and brought before magistrates, when he was remanded in custody and committed to appear at Worcester Crown Court on March 18.
