Candidates sought for Stoke parish award

NOMINATIONS are being sought for Stoke residents who have made a valuable contribution to their local community.

Stoke Parish Council is running a parishioner of the year award and is asking villagers to make suggestions for people who have done something worthwhile in support of the village.

Nominees must live in the parish and should have made their contribution within the last year.

The chosen award winner will receive a £100 gift voucher, and will be recognised at the parish’s fete being held in May.

The deadline for nominations is January 31.
