ELDERLY residents in the Stoke parish are being invited to take part in a new group.
Stoke parish councillor George Verney successfully set up a youth club for youngsters in the area, so has now decided to switch his attention to the older sector of the community.
Coun Verney is starting a drop in facility at Avoncroft Arts Centre, where residents will be able to play bridge, dominoes, cribbage, and bowls.
