Love at First Sight campaign is going on the buses

FROM Sunday, February 10, passengers travelling on First services will be given the opportunity to find new love, as part of a Valentine’s Day promotion.

The campaign 'Love at First Sight' is designed for passengers to communicate with one another and even form relationships that they may normally be too shy to strike up.

Passengers can collect a 'Love at First Sight' card when boarding the bus, and fill in their details in the space provided. Then, if they see someone on board who they recognise, or even somebody new, they can give them the card and let Cupid do the rest.

Those who do form a relationship from the campaign are invited to fill in an online questionnaire on the local First Worcestershire & Herefordshire website for a chance to win a meal for two at a restaurant of their choice. The best and most romantic story wins the prize.

The idea came from First staff and customers who have been in contact to say that they met their current partners on board, and will run until Sunday, March 10.

Ooooooo that wasnt nice. They dont all smell, even though I have been known to stuff my face in my bag of shopping from Iceland on the odd occasion to block the whiff of a stinker.

As if the crazies need encouraging!

On a serious note instead of wasting money on schemes like this how about spending time on improving services. Passengers don't even have time to find a seat and sit down let alone make conversation as the driver is too busy speeding off. I have heard drivers being rascist, talking on phones, having a girlfriend standing and talking to them the whole journey. The buses are never on time and very rude drivers. Good luck on finding love!
