A BROMSGROVE milkman has admitted breaching a sexual offences prevention order by chatting up a 15-year-old girl in a shop.
Anthony Dobson, 40, who received a suspended prison sentence in 2006 for a sex offence, pleaded guilty at Gloucester Crown Court to breaching the order on Feb 19, 2012.
He accepted that he had flouted the 2009 sexual offenders prevention order by having unsolicited contact with a child under 16 when he was prohibited from doing so.
The prosecution case is that while delivering milk to a One Stop shop in Tewkesbury, Dobson saw three girls buying sweets. It is alleged he then approached one of them up, telling her she looked nice.
A short time later he then handed the girl a note with his name and phone number, which asked her to give him a call sometime.
Judge William Hart bailed him for a pre-sentence report and adjourned the case until February 21.
He warned Dobson that breaching such orders is always regarded as serious by the courts.
