YOUNGSTERS and staff at Sidemoor First School Nursery had an extra reason to celebrate and have some cracking good fun for Easter.

The nursery has just achieved a top score during an Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS) audit.

ECERS is a quality assurance tool used by the local authority and the nursery’s score came in above the average for the county.

Nursery teacher Jane Warren said: “Part of the audit focuses on the partnership we share with parents and carers in their child’s learning. Hosting an Easter activities day and inviting parents and carers promotes communication and is great fun for the children.

“We are proud to be delivering first class pre-school education and are currently booking children in from September 2013 onwards.”
