FORMER pupils of a Rubery school are being invited to a reunion raising money for today’s pupils.

The class of 1983 of Waseley Hills High School are being invited to the event at the School Road-based school, being held on Saturday, July 6.

Although it has been organised for this class, former pupils who attended the school around this era are also being invited.

Between 6-7pm there will be a tour of the school giving ex-pupils a chance to see how the school has changed from their day.

The main reunion is then being held in the school hall, between 7-11pm.

There is a small entrance fee on the night, to help pay for the hiring of the hall, but all money raised at the event is being donated to help pay for the school disabled unit.

Everyone is being encouraged to bring their own drink on the evening.

Ahead of the event former pupils are being encouraged to send in their pictures from this era, so they can be shown on a big screen on the night.

Anyone with photos can contact organisers through the Facebook page, by searching for Waseley Hills High School big 30th.
