Town clubs and societies invited to take part in annual event
12:20pm Thursday 15th August 2013 in Local
SPORTS, arts and health clubs and societies are being encouraged to take part in an annual event showcasing what is on offer in Bromsgrove.
High 5, organised by Bromsgrove District Council, offers free information, sports performances, taster sessions and activities from clubs and organisations in the area.
The authority aims to make this year’s event the biggest yet.
Any clubs or organisations providing recreational and sporting opportunities for residents are welcome to take part in the event by setting up stalls, promotional stands, or demonstrations.
Councillor Michael Webb, whose portfolio covers leisure and cultural services, said: “The Hi5 event is great for all kinds of clubs to get involved in and caters for everything from amateur dramatics to swimming clubs.
“The event is a prime opportunity for groups to promote what they have to offer as well as the chance to meet other clubs in the area.”
Interested parties are asked to complete the online form by this Monday, August 19, in preparation for the event at Sanders Park on September 22.
The online form can be found at surveymonkey.com/s/88RWQ3L.
