Fun for all ages at Tardebigge fair and show
1:30pm Thursday 5th September 2013 in Local
ONCE again, Tardebigge’s traditional summer fair and show looks set to provide superb entertainment this Saturday, September 14, with bargains, games and fun for all ages
Located just off the A448 between Redditch and Bromsgrove, around the prominent landmark of Tardebigge Church, this well-known country fair opens at 1.30pm and will make a great afternoon out for all the family.
Set inside beautiful St. Bartholomew’s Church, the produce show will display award-winning flowers, vegetables, wine, preserves, baking, photographs and lots. Anyone can enter, and entries can be brought to the church by 11am on the morning of the show. Full information, including a schedule of classes, is available from the back of the church, or call 01527 540546.
Outside the church, the fair features displays of classic cars, motorbikes, music and dancing, as well as games of skill such as skittles, a coconut shy and crazy golf. A bouncy castle and children’s corner will entertain younger visitors, and a variety of refreshments is available throughout.
The usual high-quality raffle - this year featuring a cash first prize of £250 - together with chocolate and bottle tombolas are among the stalls offering lots of chances to win, and cakes, plants, videos/DVDs, records, books and bric-à-brac will also be on sale.
