Funeral set to take place for former popular town landlady

BROMSGROVE residents who may remember a popular landlady at a town pub are being invited to pay their respects at her funeral.
Pamela Moore died at the age of 89 on Friday, August 30.
Mrs Moore will be known to many townsfolk as the former licensee of the Britannia Inn, Worcester Road.
During her tenure, she was actively involved in various fund-raising activities.
Before moving to the town with her late husband, John Fellows, Mrs Moore helped run The Sun in Romsley.
Mrs Moore’s daughter, Cheryl Vines, also recounted her mum’s memories of growing up in the Second World War in the book Pamela’s War.
Mrs Moore leaves two daughters, four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Her funeral is being held at 11am tomorrow, September 12, at Redditch Crematorium.
