Chance to create your own British banger at Catshill pub
3:00pm Saturday 5th October 2013 in Local
A COMPETITION inviting Bromsgrove residents to create their own specially flavoured British banger is being run at a Catshill pub.
The Royal Oak pub, in Barley Mow Lane, is supporting British Sausage Week - celebrating the taste, quality and diversity of the traditional pork sausage - being held between November 4-10.
Ahead of the week, townsfolk are being asked to get creative and come up with their own flavoured sausage.
The lucky winner, who will be picked at random, receives 5lb of their flavoured sausage, a meal for four at the pub incorporating the sausage, as well as the chance to see it on the Royal Oak’s menu.
To take part simply visit the pub and write down the suggested flavour, the entrant’s name and contact details.
Suggestions can also be left at Partridge’s Butchers, in Stourbridge Road. Entries need to be in before Friday, October 25.
For more details visit the pub’s website, theroyaloakbromsgrove.co.uk.
