Christmas craft fairs being held to raise money for Primrose Hospice
11:10am Friday 1st November 2013 in Local
BROMSGROVE and Redditch residents are being invited to two Christmas craft fairs that are being held to raise money for Primrose Hospice.
The craft fairs will have stalls offering a variety of Christmas gifts including jewellery, jams and chutneys, toys, cards, ceramics, stained glass, vintage items and skin care products.
All the money raised at the fairs goes to the St Godwald’s-based hospice offering a wide range of clinical and support services to those living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
The first fair is being held on Sunday, November 10, at Hillscourt Conference Centre, in Rose Hill, from 10am.
As well as a craft fair there is also a Santa’s Grotto and cake demonstrations.
The second fair is being held at Kings Norton Golf Club, in Brockhill Lane, Alvechurch, on Tuesday, November 19, also from 10am.
Entrance to both fairs costs £1, though there is an additional charge for the Santa’s Grotto at the Rednal fair.
Primrose Hospice is also calling for local businesses to support them by raffling one of its impressive Christmas hampers.
It costs £1 a go, with the winner receiving a bundle of locally sourced products including wine, ale, fudge, biscuits, chutney and honey.
Businesses interested in taking part are asked to call 01527 889796.
