A TALENTED Bromsgrove youngster is celebrating a milestone birthday by holding a special concert.
Oakalls resident Charlotte Moseley is performing a collection of six instrumental works by Bach at St John's Church, Kidderminster Road, on Sunday, December 15.
Charlotte asked for the concert to celebrate her 21st birthday instead of a party, and decided it should raise money for the church's outreach work in the town.
The six works were presented to Christian Ludwig, Marquis of Brandenburg-Schwedt, in 1721, and are widely regarded as among the finest musical compositions of the Baroque era - though rarely performed together.
Charlotte will be joined at the concert by her friends from the Royal Northern College of Music, Royal College of Music and the Orchestra of St John's.
The concert starts at 6.30pm and will be performed by candlelit.
Tickets cost £10 which includes refreshments of mulled wine and birthday cake. Children go free.
Tickets can be purchased on the door or by calling 01527 870048.
