RUBERY youngsters met a special visitor when he came to town.
Around 80 excited children, together with parents and grandparents, sang carols outside Longbridge Methodist Church, in Bristol Road South, patiently awaiting for Father Christmas to arrive.
After Santa arrived, everyone sang some more carols with him before the youngsters enjoyed breakfast.
The Breakfast with Santa event also included a grotto where youngsters could meet Santa individually and have their pictures taken.
All the youngsters also received a present at the event, which has become a popular one held annually.
Jacqueline Walker, who runs Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School based at the church, said the Breakfast with Santa event was a lovely community day, and a wonderful way to begin this year's Christmas celebrations.
