YOUNGSTERS from a Rubery school have been switched on to a campaign to save energy.
Pupils from Holywell Primary and Nursery School eco committee encouraged everyone in school to become more ecology aware.
This included classes at the School Road-based school switching off lights and computers, to earn the reward of green cards.
There was also a school poster competition in which the children were asked to design an information poster reminding others to Switch it Off.
Rachel Moss, teacher at the school and eco co-ordinator, said: "We were overwhelmed by the pupils participation and enthusiasm for this activity.”
