A BROMSGROVE teenager has been charged after a vehicle collided with a police car and stingers had to be used.

The incident happened on the evening of Monday, November 4, when police officers stopped a Ford KA in Fairfield.

It then made off then, colliding with a police car that was damaged.

The vehicle was chased along the A450, through Harvington towards Mustow Green - where officers deployed the stinger device to stop it.

A 16-year-old boy from Bromsgrove has been charged with possession of cannabis, driving otherwise than in accordance with the licence, having no insurance, failing to stop for police, and careless driving.

He is due to appear before Kidderminster youth court on Friday, December 20.
