BROMSGROVE'S Ryland Centre is holding a Sport Relief event in the town.
The New Road facility will host The Bromsgrove Mile on Sunday, March 23 to raise cash for vulnerable people around the world.
People of all ages are invited to register online at sportrelief.com and secure their place for the biennial charity event. The Bromsgrove Mile will run from 10am to 2pm and features fun activities and entertainment for all the family.
Sport Relief brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world's poorest countries.
Participants can run, walk, jog or push a pushchair or wheelchair around the Ryland Centre athletics track during the event. All those taking part will get a Sport Relief medal. For more information call the Ryland Centre on 01527 575387.
