A MARLBROOK man who suffered a cardiac arrest died as a result of an accident a coroner has recorded.
John Derek Cawthen, 86, of Cottage Drive, was in hospital last December. Between December 13 and 14 Mr Cawthen removed his endotracheal tube, and when the tube was reinserted it was not correctly repositioned.
The inquest, held today, (February 7), heard this led to Mr Cawthen suffering a cardiac arrest, and he died on December 14.
The Worcestershire coroner ruled Mr Cawthen died as a result of an accident.
