A DRIVER lost a tooth after being punched, when three people blocked a Charford road.

The incident happened at 6.15pm on Friday, (February 7).

The victim, in his 40s, was driving his 4x4 type vehicle to the junction of Edwin Crescent and Salwarpe Road, when he was forced to stop because three men were standing in the middle of the road.

He asked them to move and they attacked him, punching him several times to the face, pulling him to the floor and stamping on his head.

The victim lost a tooth and sustained other injuries including cuts and bruises inside his mouth. He was treated in A&E at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Two of the offenders were described as white and in their late teens to early 20s.
