PEOPLE who may have kept hold of old family photographs of local men involved in fighting during the First World War are being asked to come forward to help with a performance for Barnt Green Choral Society.
The society is collecting photographs of local uniformed soldiers from the Great War as part of a performance being planned at the Artrix of Karl Jenkins’ popular piece ‘The Armed Man’.
The show will feature projections of images relating to the First World War, and local people are being asked to send in images of family members to contribute to a montage of serving men from the Bromsgrove area.
The performance itself is on Saturday, March 15 from 7.30pm at the Artrix and tickets are £10. Anyone wishing to send in images should contact steve.cowperthwaite@btinternet.com before Friday, March 7.
