YOUNGSTERS at Lickey Babies and Toddlers group really got to feel like spring was well and truly in the air recently, when they had a visit from a brand new baby lamb.
One of the childminders at the group, works on a farm where lambing was taking place, and she brought one of the newly-born lambs in, giving the children the opportunity to get up close to the five-day-old lamb and pet it.
Cathy Thornton, who runs the group, said: “The children were all thrilled by the lamb coming to the group, and the lamb was very good.”
The children also made their own lamb pictures using cotton wool.
