THOSE who suffer from sight loss in Bromsgrove are being asked to share their views as part of a new consultation to help improve services.

Local sight loss charity Sight Concern Worcestershire is currently seeking the opinions of both people with sight loss and professionals in the county as part of the ‘Your Vision’ consultation.

Funded by Awards for All, the project will give people with sight loss in the county the chance to comment on their experience of support services and make suggestions for how services might better meet their needs.

Jim Smith, head of branch and community services, said: “This is a time when support services across the county are changing as the funding landscape changes. ‘Your Vision’ provides an opportunity for people to influence the future of Sight Loss services in Worcestershire.

"We are confident that the consultation will help us reach people who may not previously have had the opportunity to voice their needs. The workshops are aimed not only at people with sight loss, but also their family or friends and health and social care professionals.”

As part of the consultation, workshops will take place across the county and those in Bromsgrove are invited to Amphlett Hall, Crown Close on Monday, April 7 from 9.30-11.30am.

To book your place, or get a copy of the consultation, email info@sightconcern.co.uk or call 01905 332903 or 01905 723245.
