A WORLD of foods and crafts came to Bromsgrove earlier this month at the town's first ever Fairtrade Fair.
As well as exotic items such as Palestinian foods, South American and Indian jewellery and hats from Madagascar, visitors also picked up information about all the local cafes and shops in the area which sell Fairtrade products.
There were stalls from local shops and groups including BabiesTown in Bromsgrove, Jams for Gambia based in Cofton Hackett and Karena Crafts from Redditch Craft Centre.
The Green Ape Man brought a few of his his pedal-powered Fairtrade smoothies with him too, all made with the help of his eco-bike.
Members of Bromsgrove Fairtrade Town Steering group, who organised the event, were delighted with the fair’s success and hope to hold a second in the future.
