TOWNSFOLK are being invited to a double celebration for Easter and St George's Day.

Residents can enjoy the fun event this Easter Sunday, April 20.

St George's Day, April 23, is traditionally celebrated by patriotic residents at the council's High Street event.

But this year, due to the current work to improve the town centre, the event has moved to Sanders Park and combined with the Easter celebrations.

Various activities have been organised for the day including street dance and zumba, the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and
follow an Easter trail.

Entertainment is being provided by Rock Choir, Celebration Reed and Brass Band, and a special circus performance.

The event is being held at the Kidderminster Road-based park from noon until 4pm.

Val Wilson, events officer for Bromsgrove District Council, said: “The activities and entertainment on offer at our double celebration event, plus the beautiful location at Sanders Park mean it's set to be a fun day out for all the family.

"Come on down and don’t miss out.”
