A BROMSGROVE club and a town leisure centre are teaming up to offer pre school youngsters the chance to enjoy gymnastics.

The brand new pre school gymnastics sessions are a joint venture between Bromsgrove Gymnastics Club and the Ryland Centre.

The sessions are for children aged two years and over, and launch on Wednesday, April 30, at the New Road-based centre.

Sessions take place from 10.30am to 11.30am.

The sessions are designed to help improve children's balance, co-ordination and endurance in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Youngsters will also be able to explore the gymnastics apparatus that will be available.

Bromsgrove Gymnastic Club's head coach Andrea Paice said: “Gymnastics is a very popular sport and to be able to work with the Ryland Centre to offer pre-school gymnastics to the Bromsgrove community is wonderful.

"I am very much looking forward to developing this class”.

Bromsgrove Gymnastics Club has been established in Bromsgrove for four years, and is recognised under the national governing body, British Gymnastics.

Since launching the club has made it in the top three for club of the year at the Hereford and Worcestershire Sports Awards and the National British Gymnastics Awards.

People interested in booking a place for their child are asked to do so quickly to avoid disapointment, as there is only a limited number of places.
